| Of Truth and Stories debut EP, Prologue, was just recently reviewed by Skyline Press. The EP received a rating of 9.5 out 10. Look for O.T.A.S. on tour in the first quarter of 2008. They will be covering the south east, north east, and mid west. A special thanks to everyone who was involved in the creation of this album.

Not only is it just a really good EP with no throwaway tracks (and don't give me that "it's only six songs long, of course there won't be filler" story, because we all have bought an EP at some point in time that made us want to put our head through glass by track three), but the Prologue EP is also incredibly ambitious, especially when you take into account that this is Of Truth And Storie's debut. That's right. Their first EP, and I'm not only praising it, but also calling it ambitious. The scene police are surely speeding to my house as we speak. What's really great about the Prologue EP is that Of Truth And Stories jump at every opportunity to mix gritty high-end rock with larger than life vocals for a sound that borders on epicness more times than not, yet still manages to have a mainstream appeal. "The Game" and "That Guy" are great examples of this; "The Game" opens with a crunchy guitar and pounding beat sure to get hearts racing before mixed with the vocals that turn practically every song they grace on the EP into an instant hit. "That Guy" begins similarly, but the song has a more personal air to it, expressed mainly through a strong chorus. "Carnivale (State Of Mind)" ends the Prologue EP well, showing Of Truth And Stories in a softer setting. It's an softer, yet slower track with a lightly ticking beat and muffled vocals that strain at points near the end of the song perfectly. I won't go out on a limb and say that Of Truth And Stories are "the best band that you haven't heard of yet" or any of those other silly catchphrases album reviewers tend to throw around. What I will say is that the prologue EP shows a huge amount of potential for Of Truth And Stories to become that band, and with the release of the band's full length album just around the corner, it shouldn't be long before Of Truth And Stories really have a chance to make their mark. ~ Jess November 11 2007" |

We are very excited and working hard in the studio to give all the fans what they deserve! Many big names are involved in the project that we can't disclose at this time. You know how it is. But anyways we a stoked. Everything is going to be on the next level and expect big things coming fall of 2007!
